The Secret life of the American Teenager is slowly developing into what can be touted as the next big show on television, at least till the next season of other popular shows release. So, until then let's talk about The Secret life of the American teenager.

All of you know the story so far. Well, in the 5th episode, it is being said that Ashley and Amy try to convince their dad not to leave town. And it is but obvious that Jack and Adrian grow closer to each other and develop a strong bond between themselves.

Well, in later episodes we will be seeing rumors floating around that Amy has decided to have an abortion. Well, we'll cross the bridge when it comes. As soon as the 5th episode is aired, you know where you can find it!

The latest TV show craze, The Secret Life Of The American Teenager, has set viewership rates on fire. At first glance, the show is nothing more than another stuck up teen show. But, progressive episodes have changed this general outlook.

The very first episodes lays out the story line. Girl + unplanned pregnancy + a whole horde of other supporting actors = big success!. So as you might have guessed, the show is about a teen, Amy, who discovers that she is pregnant, after her experiences at Band Camp.

I guess you must have already seen a bucket-load of TV shows like this, but believe me, this one is different. To be quite honest, the show is quite wierd, but I mean that in a good sense. The show, unlike many others, has a sense of realism, which seems to be the missing element in most of the other shows that are being aired as you read. So you wanna continue listening to Amy's story? Well?

So now, She talks about it to everyone, except her parents. This alone pretty much spits out the fact that she will remain mum about it atleast till end of the 1st season. So you must be quite certain as to what you can expect from this season. Though the show has been dubbed by most as 'just another teen show', I disagree. The show, though it might not have the best storyline, has a decent crew. The actors are sufficiently talented and the screenplay is commendable. Nothing less. Nothing more.If you watched the show, you would probably agree that Juno was a season run-through for the show.

I guess all of you must be hooked to this series by now. I was quite impressed myself when I first saw this show. Amy and Ben have sort of become stable, after sharing their first kiss. Jack is disappointed, after his falling out with Grace and in the 4th episode, he looks towards Adrian for comfort. Though the storyline seems somewhat a bit meek now, I think it should develop quite well, after around another 10 episodes. The 4th episode will have a lot going on. So don't miss it!

I feel that this TV show is really going somewhere and is not just like the other teen shows coming out these days. Looks like ABC has a winner!

Prom Night Fails To Leave A Mark

You would have definitely read mixed reviews about this flick all over the net. But when you come to think of it, I'd say that this movie is pretty decent, though many of you out there would fight to disagree. I'll face it. Yes, the movie did look a bit dumb at first and the acting and screenplay is bad and all that.

But all set aside, the basic script is pretty good (which I think has been stolen from a movie that was released in the '80s) and the story is also an edge-of-the-seat sort of thing. The movie scores pretty decently, but cannot be regarded as a real competitive horror flick because the direction and screenplay is pretty pathetic.

The story is about girl Donna and her friends, who are attacked by a murderer on their end-of-school prom night and the whole story is about them, and the murderer. OK, I do know that it sounds a bit stupid, but the movie is not that bad. Worth a lazy Friday night DVD rental. Nothing more. Nothing less. Enough said.

I do not usually watch a lot of TV, but I am now hooked to One Tree Hill. I think this is a brilliant show. I totally loved season 1 especially. I have been viewing OTH every week. Spent a period of time to come on to me, but now I love it. The drama will definitely appeal to anyone who watches it. Initially, I though Brooke was really frustrating but later her true nature comes out when Lucas meets with an accident. Now, she is obviously very pissed that Lucas and Peyton are seeing each other secretly. She may not say the right thing at the right time, but she is an absolutely fantastic character. The entire cast is brilliant in its performance. One of the best American teen drama shows that I have seen in some time now, better than the OC. BTW, Sophia Bush is hot. I like this program, I am very pleased to see that, OTH, has crossed the first few seasons. It has a huge fan following. No wonder it is on tv.com’s highest rated shows!

Though 10000 B.C. did better than most reviews that I had read prior to my visit to the theatre, it really did not match my expectations. It is reminiscent of other movies that have been released recently (any guesses which movie I am referring to??). The movie contains stunning shots of mountains and superb shots of nature. But nothing more. As the title says...not good enough for 2008 A.D.

Shallow Characters. Not very good screenplay. Pretty boring scenes. All these factors together have pulled this movie down. I was not sure what to expect when I waled into the theatre. I came out really disappointed. The concept of a parallel universe is a bit too hard to believe and the director has not strived to make the viewer believe the same. On the whole, not a very good movie.

Superbad : Another Teen Movie

At first sight, this might seem like just another teen movie. But the movie is really hilarious and the characters are surprisingly very stable. The movie never gets boring at any point. The story is about two underage guys who try to purchase alcohol from a local store. Things then get bad when the cops come in. This movie is surely not as good as the american pie series but is sure to raise heads towards itself.

Vantage Point : It could have been better

Vantage Point is all about the assassination of the president. The movie somewhat lived up to its hype but could have been executed in a better manner. The way the story has been told is a bit annoying but the action scenes make up for it. The acting is pretty good but many of the characters are a bit flimsy. The story is very good but the way it has been told pulls down the movie a bit. Definitely worth the money i paid for the ticket, but I am not so sure if I would watch it a second time.

Cloverfield : Simply Awesome!

I was speechless after watching this movie. The scenes were absolutely thrilling and it always keeps you on the edge of your seat. Dont miss it!

The trailer of this movie is excellent. Unfortunately, the story is a bit flawed and is a bit too farfetched. The acting is not up to the mark and is not as good as one would expect it to be, upon watching the trailer. The screenshots are breathtaking and covers various global ladnmarks like the Burj-Al-Arab in Dubai, some brilliant shots of famous European monuments etc. Apart from this, I did not find anything out-of-the-world in this movie.

Zodiac : Wonderfully Done

This has to definitely be one of the best movies that i have ever seen. Superb acting, flawless screenplay and an absolute thriller. Really clinching story. This is based on a real life story and the direction has been executed excellently. It is a story about a serial murderer and about his modus operandi. The movie will keep you pinned to your seat throughout.
